CARE home residents were treated to a "magnificent" day out at the Army Flying Museum.
Residents at Shawford Springs care home on Otterbourne Road in Compton recently enjoyed what they described as a "magnificent trip" to The Army Flying Museum near Stockbridge.
One resident in particular, Alan, found it to be a special day.

He spent much of his working life providing aviation artwork and drawings to various companies, after his visit to the Army Flying Museum, he said: "I’ve had such a wonderful day out at the Army Flying Museum, I’m thrilled to have seen many of the planes that I recognise and have worked on over the years."
General manager, Julie said: "Our residents and guests had a wonderful day out at the Museum.
"We do our very best to provide a wide range of activities and entertainment at Shawford Springs as part of the lifestyle enrichment programme for residents, and it was lovely to hear how our residents enjoyed their trip and enjoyed reminiscing."
