STAFF at a restaurant in Stockbridge are holding a festive bauble competition to make one child's Christmas wish come true.
Prego Deli & Dining, in the High Street, have sent out more than 500 baubles to nearby schools so children can decorate them with a Christmas wish.
The children will then be encouraged to place their bauble on the Christmas tree that will be placed outside the Italian restaurant.
Mandy and Dave Buck, organisers of the event, said: "We are doing the competition, as we feel it's a great way to bring the children from local schools together at Christmas.

"They get to see their bauble on the tree along with other children's wishes for Christmas."
On Friday, December 1 from 4pm until 6pm a brass band will be playing on the High Street and this is when the majority of children will be invited to place their baubles on the tree.
One bauble will be picked and the child's Christmas wish will be granted (subject to conditions).
