ANDOVER'S first mini-con has been hailed as a success after people flocked to the event.
Creative costumes and characters filled The Lights on Sunday, November 5, for a celebration of all things fantasy.
Organised by My Comic Heroes and Steve’s 3D Printing, Mini-Con Andover saw a selection of traders, from comics to horror, Pokémon to anime and Harry Potter to Star Wars.
There were guest appearances including actor Brian Wheeler who portrayed an Ewok and a Jawa in Star Wars Episode VI – Return of the Jedi, along with appearing in several Harry Potter films.

Film and television actor Bern Collaço was another guest on the day, he has appeared in the likes of Wonder Woman, Rogue One and The Last Jedi as a Stormtrooper – to name just a few.
Attendees also got the chance to take part in a Cosplay competition, with several different categories with prizes for the winners. There were also photo opportunities, props, activities and more.
Steve Lee, of Steve's 3D Printing, said: "Mini-Con Andover was a massive success, it was a sell-out. We had a really great turnout for the Cosplay competition which was enjoyed by all, there were some really great costumes, and people really made a massive effort.
"We were jam-packed with different vendors, from comics to collectables, guests, Pokemon, photo ops and more.
"We have had lots of great feedback, with loads of people hungry for more."
