ANDOVER motorists will have 10 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• M3, from 9pm December 9 2020 to 6am December 2 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 10, slip road closures for M3 Concrete barrier Scheme. to junction 3 and M271 northbound, carriageway and lane closures for structures work.
• A34, from midnight, February 1 to 11.59pm December 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): abnormal Load - Swansea to Southampton.
• A34, from midnight, July 1 to 11.59pm December 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): abnormal load - Southampton to Cumbria.
And a further seven closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A303, from 8pm November 20 to 6am November 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 eastbound, Overton to Micheldever, Lane closure for signage works.
• A303, from 9pm November 21 to 6am November 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 eastbound, Longparish to Barton Stacey, Lane closures and diversion route for horticulture work.
• A303, from 8pm November 22 to 6am November 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Longparish to Picket Twenty, Lane closure for signage works.
• A303, from 8pm November 24 to 6am November 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Picket Twenty to Winchester Road, Lane closure for signage works.
• A303, from 8pm November 28 to 6am November 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Winchester Road to Salisbury Road, Lane closure for signage works.
• A303, from 9pm November 28 to 6am November 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Bullington, slip road, link road and lane closures for technology work.
• A303, from 9pm December 4 to 6am December 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 eastbound, Thruxton Village to Micheldever, slip road and lane closures for signage work.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
