IT WAS a nice change for Chris Jackson owner of award-winning chauffeur firm Let Me Drive You to be chauffeured to an awards event.
The team from Let Me Drive You, an Andover business, were taken to the QSI awards in Brighton last week as they had been shortlisted for several honours.
They took with them special guest councillor Iris Andersen.

Chris said: “QSI stands for Quality Service and Innovation - something that I continue to provide to anyone that chooses to use us and have been since 2011 when I started out.
"Although we didn’t bring home an award this year we represented both the industry, networked and continued to put Andover on the map and up there with the market leaders - that remains good enough, especially in these diverse and challenging times we are in."
The awards are organised by Professional Driver Magazine and are now in their 10th year.
The night saw hundreds of people from across the country attend the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Brighton, on Thursday, November 16.
The awards are open to every private hire, chauffeur and taxi company in the UK and saw honours handed out in 10 categories.
Let Me Drive You made the shortlist for the Chauffeur Operator Award, Marketing Award, Community Award and Business Diversification category.
Driver Angel Neshav was up for Professional Driver of the Year.

Chris said he was proud to see his company make the shortlist for so many categories.
He said: “I would like to thank everyone that continues to support the LMDY brand throughout these continuing challenging times and Iris for representing my home town a place I remain proud of and its people that make it what it is now and in the past."
Iris said it was an honour to join them on the night.
She said: "There were a lot of big organisations up for awards from places like Scotland, London, Southampton, all over the place, but Let Me Drive You was the only company to be there from Andover. I have supported this business for many years now, it was great to see an Andover company representing the town."
