Festive treats including gingerbread, mince pies and hot chocolate, were available at the event, which was organised by Ludgershall Town Council.
The council also held its annual Christmas Fayre on Sunday, November 26, hosted by Ludgershall Sports and Social Club.
Businesses, churches, and charities attended the fayre, with a face-painting stall and a grand raffle for attendees. Santa also appeared with his elves, offering pictures and toys to children in Santa’s Grotto.
The Christmas lights switch-on and fayre were supported by Castledown FM, a volunteer-led radio station broadcasting music, quizzes, interviews, and local news to listeners across Tidworth, Ludgershall and nearby areas.
