TEST Valley Brass Band will be holding its annual Christmas concert this weekend, to the delight of residents and music lovers alike.
The brass band will hold its Christmas concert on Saturday, December 2 at John Hanson Community School, starting at 6.30pm.
The evening promises to be an 'exciting, joyful occasion' and will feature all of the bands in the Test Valley Brass group, from the youngest beginners up to the senior band.
Altogether, over 75 band members will be playing a selection of Christmas music, culminating in a massed band feature during which the audience will also have the opportunity to join in and sing.

Test Valley Brass is a community of bands based in Andover, dedicated to the enjoyment of making music, the promotion of learning of brass instruments, and serving the local community.
It encourages new and experienced players of all ages to share the joy and satisfaction experienced when playing music in an ensemble.
Test Valley Brass has four active ensembles catering for all ages and abilities, and in addition a teaching section which provides opportunities for absolute beginners and returning players to learn and progress.

Membership fees are low, instruments can be provided on free loans, and there is a structured learning process so that players can measure their progress.
The concert starts at 6.30pm, with tickets available on the door for £10.
