A MAN from Andover has been sent to prison after assaulting another man and a police officer.
Luke Miles, of Dene Road, on Friday, November 17, in Andover, assaulted another man and used threatening or abusive words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress.
On the same date the 30-year-old assaulted constable James Dawes in Andover.

During a hearing held at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Monday, November 20, Miles pleaded guilty to the offences.
Magistrates sent him to prison for 26 weeks.
