A WOMEN who lives at a care home in Andover has celebrated reaching the milestone age of 100, surrounded by her family and friends.
Rose Hall enjoyed celebrations at Rothsay Grange Care Home and she was even visited by the Mayor of Test Valley, Cllr Philip Lashbrook.
Rose said: “It was a lovely to see everyone and it was a fun afternoon. I have never had so many flowers which I am now enjoying in my room along with my balloons, it's almost like a florist's in here."
Rose had a beautiful birthday cake which she cut and everyone enjoyed a lovely buffet tea prepared by the home's head chef Debbie and there was musical accompaniment from The Two of Us.

General manager of the care home, Gemma Hicks added: “It was a real honour for everyone at Rothsay to be able to share in Rose's celebrations and to make the day memorable for her. Rose loved being surrounded by her family and friends and it was also extra special to welcome the mayor and mayoress for the afternoon as they added their congratulations to Rose.
"There is nothing we like more at Rothsay than a party so a huge thank you to Rose for allowing us to share in her special day, and congratulations again from all of us."
