Temperatures noticeably plummeted this week, and the town even experienced snowfall yesterday (January, 8), and the Met Office issued a yellow warning for ice.
The average daily temperature has fluttered around the 2-3C mark recently, and the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) issued an amber cold health alert for many regions including the South West and South East of England.
