A CHARLTON woman determined to make Andover a menopause-friendly town has sold out an event at The Lights.
Claire Hattrick, The Executive Menopause Coach, has organised an event at The Lights on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, to talk about all things menopause.
Since the Covid lockdown, Claire has been sharing advice on menopause with people online and visiting companies to educate them on the period of life.

The 56-year-old lost 10 years of her life to undiagnosed menopause joint pain, leaving her unable to sit, stand or walk. She is now on a mission to make sure other women do not suffer the same.
She has sold 250 tickets for the event on Wednesday.
Claire said: "We are absolutely over the moon that our Menopause Show has sold out and would like to thank the local community in Andover and the surrounding villages for supporting this event and getting behind us!
"We hope that everyone who attends the show will thoroughly enjoy the evening that we have spent months planning and leave with lots of information, support and knowledge, not only for themselves, but their loved ones and work colleagues too.

"From the basics of menopause, my personal journey and a fabulous expert panel all lined up, we are hoping it will be an unforgettable evening with some light hearted fun along the way.
"We hope some of the large employers in Andover will attend our show and realise the importance of menopause support in the workplace, so they can not only retain their existing female staff but appeal to any potential future employees by offering regular menopause support in the workplace."
Joining Claire will be menopause specialist Dr Carys Sonnenberg, nutritionist Annie Ellis, Louise Field speaking about pelvic floor health, Libby Stevenson on women’s yoga and wellbeing, women’s health coach Kate Rowe-Ham, and Gordon Lott, chief executive and co-founder of Dr Vegan.
Attendees will be allowed to meet the experts, as well as hear from Claire speaking about the importance of understanding menopause.
