A NEW unisex cosmetic salon has opened its doors in Andover after the owners decided to grow their exciting business.

Coco Cosmetics opened on London Street in Andover on Monday, February 5, following a launch party on Saturday, February 3.

The new venture has been opened by business partners Megan Grace from Newbury and Danielle Marriner from Andover.

Megan, 30, told the Advertiser that the pair, who are both mothers, had been working at home but then decided to set up the salon.

She said: "Myself and my business partner have had the business for five years but worked from home. We just decided we wanted to venture out and open up the salon."

The mother-of-two said the salon has been beautifully designed to provide something not seen anywhere else in Andover.

"It has been going really well and when people walk in the salon you feel like you are somewhere else," she said.

The pair is also offering a special deal for HGV drivers, offering a free vitamin B12 injection.

Megan said the injection is used to improve concentration and mental health and the campaign has been called Trucker Tuesday.

A post on the businesses Facebook page reads: "We've seen too many posts/stories lately that our wonderful HGV drivers have been really struggling with their mental health something which is close to our homes here at Coco Cosmetics.

"So we would love to offer a FREE Vitamin B12 injection to any driver who feels they just need a little boost of energy, to make them feel happier and healthier! We will be open from 9am until 9pm so plenty of time to pop in. Please contact us today if this is something you are interested in and we can book you in."

The salon also offers a range of other services including aesthetics, semi-permanent makeup, lashes, tanning, massage, facials, waxing and lots more.

It's open Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm and with late closing on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 9/10pm.
