A WOMAN from Andover who got behind the wheel while over the limit has been banned from taking to the roads.
On Thursday, June 29 last year Samantha Uzzell, from St Mary Bourne, drove a Suzuki Jimny on Finkley Road in Finkley with 227 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood - the legal limit is 80.
The 31-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence on Monday, November 20 last year.

During a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, January 30 she was sentenced for the offence.
Magistrates banned her from driving for two years and ordered her to comply with a community order including alcohol treatment and rehabilitation activity.
She must also pay a fine of £40, court costs of £85 and a surcharge fee of £114
