A LONGSTANDING employee of an Andover company has bid farewell after an extraordinary tenure spanning an impressive 44 years.
Glen Colley, who lives in Andover, is marking the end of a long career at Bowyer Engineering Ltd in South Way.
The 64-year-old’s time at Bowyer has been characterised by dedication, expertise, and cherished memories.
Throughout his illustrious career, Glen has been a witness to the growth and evolution of Bowyer, contributing significantly to its successes and milestones.

His colleagues fondly recall his steadfast support, invaluable expertise, and role as a mentor to many within the organisation.
Reflecting on his remarkable journey with Bowyer, Glen said: “I have enjoyed every minute working for Bowyer. My thanks go to everyone past and present, especially [owners] Michael and Heather Bowyer.”
As the company bid farewell to its valued member, it also celebrated the culmination of an extraordinary career filled with achievements, memories, and lasting friendships.
Michael Bowyer, who has known Glen all his working life, thanked his trusted employee for his time at the company.
"As you embark on this new chapter of your life, I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations on your retirement after an incredible 44 years of dedication and hard work. Your presence in our team has been truly invaluable, and your contributions have left an indelible mark on all of us,” said Michael, who himself has spent 55 years at his company.
