MORE than thirty lock-up garages at various garage blocks in Pilgrims Way in Andover have sold in auction for a total of £181,000.
The 31 freehold garages, all vacant, were among 135 lots listed across southern England by Clive Emson Auctioneers in the firm’s February auction – the first of eight this year.
Audrey Smith, a senior auction appraiser at the firm, said: “We anticipated keen interest from bidders as lock-up garages in residential areas are often sought after, either for investment or private use, and this proved to be the case.
