CRIME reported in Test Valley has decreased, according to new police data.
In December 2023, the most recent month available, 647 crimes were reported across the borough, which is down from 650 crimes in the previous month of November, according to data.police.uk.
The most common category was violence and sexual offences, with 256 offences reported, down from 275 in November.
Criminal damage and arson was the second-most common category, with 65 reports during the month, followed by 61 reports of other theft.
