AN ANDOVER man has been arrested from the town centre on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
Police said a 35-year-old man from Andover was arrested just before 7pm on Tuesday, February 20, after officers patrolling in Andover town centre stopped a man in London Street.
The arrest is part of police's efforts to disrupt Class A drug supply and offences in the area.
The man was searched and officers found a quantity of suspected class A drugs, as well as money and mobile phones, police said.

He is currently in police custody while officers carry out further enquiries.
A police spokesperson said: "Drug-related harm is a priority for us in Test Valley.
"The support we receive from local people is vital in helping us make our communities safer and every bit of information we receive is greatly appreciated.
"Anyone with information about drug-related activity is asked to call us on 101 or via our online reporting portal on our website."
