A LEARNING trust with schools in Ludgershall and Tidworth is launching a new partnership.
The partnership between the Ascend Learning Trust and Teach First will launch in September and provide school-centred initial teacher training offering trainees the opportunity to train alongside national experts and experienced local teachers.
The 12 months of in-house training will work towards trainees gaining their Qualified Teacher Status alongside a PGCE.
The multi-academy trust will also offer placements at its four secondary schools and three primary and early years, working in the classroom and with an onsite mentor.
