A COCKTAIL bar in Andover has been celebrating after receiving a five-star food hygiene rating following a recent inspection.
SP Bar, in Bridge Street, is owned by Stephanie and Ricky Pledge, who acquired the venue in 2019.
The bar reopened on Friday, December 1 after work took place to refit the premises and give it a new, fresh feel.
The new look is complemented by several new, creative drinks on offer, as well as all the classic cocktails that customers already love.

The bar underwent a food hygiene inspection on Tuesday, February 20 where it received a five-star rating.
Food hygiene reports rank eateries on hygienic food handling, cleanliness and the condition of facilities and building, and management of food safety.

SP Bar was rated as 'very good' in all three categories, giving the bar a food hygiene rating of five out of five.
Owner Stephanie Pledge said: "The team works so hard, so to receive a five-star food hygiene rating is a great reflection of all the efforts that they go to. I'm so proud."
The bar is hireable for events including business-related events, music videos, hen and stag parties and much more.
SP Bar also hosts cocktail masterclasses and bottomless brunches, while also branching into doing several food options including smashed burgers, dirty dogs, and loaded fries.
It has recently started serving breakfast from 9am till 12pm from Mondays to Saturdays.
