A DEVELOPER has announced its sponsorship of rugby kits for kids at Overton Church of England Primary School.
With Six Nations Championship fever captivating young rugby fans, Bewley Homes provided the school with a new rugby kit, empowering pupils to represent their school with pride during various tournaments and events this year.
Stuart Locke, sales manager for the Sovereign Gate development, was only too pleased to take part in the photoshoot, being both an ex-player himself and a keen supporter of Gloucester Rugby.
Elaine Stratford, Bewley sales and marketing director, said: "At Bewley Homes, we believe in contributing positively to the communities where we build homes. Sponsoring Overton Primary School and providing them with a new rugby kit is our way of supporting young talent and encouraging children to have a healthy, active lifestyle. We wish them every success in their tournaments. We also hope the new kit brings them good luck.”
Headteacher Fiona Wyeth said: "We are incredibly grateful to Bewley Homes for their support and generosity in sponsoring Overton Primary School. This sponsorship goes beyond providing a new kit; it will undoubtedly inspire them to give their best effort on the field.”
