A COUNTRY pub in Test Valley recently donated more than £600 to an air ambulance charity.
The Swan Inn, Barton Stacey, raised £630 for Hampshire and IOW Air Ambulance through various events.
Pub staff presented Judith Stephens, from the charity, with the cheque on Saturday, March 9.

Landlady Annmarie McCarthy said: “The money has been collected over the past year from the proceeds of many events including the last Saturday of the month repair cafe, several free-of-fee evenings from the brilliant entertainer and singer Matt Sutton, donations from the winners of our quiz nights, charity events/ competitions and the general generosity of our customers and staff.”
