AN ANDOVER company has been named a 'Which? Recommended Provider' for stairlift brands for the second consecutive year.
Stairlift and home lift company Stannah retained its status as the only stairlift brand to have been granted the accolade of 'Which? Recommended Provider', with an overall satisfaction rating of 75 per cent when surveyed against three other stairlift brands in late 2022, the results of which have carried over from 2023 into 2024.
Which? surveyed 663 individuals who have purchased a stairlift within the past decade. Among them, more than a third (228) were Stannah customers.

Which? experts again noted that only one brand was deserving of their coveted 'Recommended Provider' status, attributing a 75 per cent rating based on overall satisfaction and likelihood to recommend.
Brands were also ranked on various criteria such as value for money, safety, quality, reliability, comfort, appearance, and ease of use.
Stannah, a small family business founded in 1867, received five-star ratings across four categories.
Patrick Stannah, Stannah's joint managing director, said: "We are very proud to have once again been named a Which? Recommended Provider and to still be the only stairlift brand to hold this status. Our dedication to excellence is a strong commitment across the business as we strive to enhance the lives of all of our customers. Stairlifts can be a life-changing product for our customers, so it’s only right that the service we offer holds the same value."
