PET owners in Andover are being given a helping hand to cope with rising costs thanks to a new foodbank in the town.
The pet foodbank project is part of NotJUST Andover CIC, a not-for-profit organisation rooted in Andover.
NotJUST Andover CIC has aided in running foodbanks since 2015, and within the last year has increased this service to help provide food and essentials for our furry friends.
The Pet Foodbank Project has been set up to help families keep their companions fed and where they belong, at home with their families.

The idea was born from media manager, Alice Bathie, who approached NotJUST founder Daisy Beven with the aim of setting up support for pet owners.
The pet foodbank has been in place in Andover for a year now and has helped many people in helping to keep their animals fit and healthy, as rising vet bills cause a bigger squeeze on peoples finances.

The charity has a donation point for pet food at Pets at Home in Enham Arch Retail Park, while users of the service can apply for either self or professional referrals through the charity's website, before being told where to go to pick up the food. Deliveries on food are not available.
NotJUST founder, Daisy Beven, said: "I'm incredibly proud of the team for their suggestions of what is needed to help our communities, and have to tip my hat to Alice on this one.
"She's worked so hard and has put in a lot of the leg work to get this idea off the ground and up and running, and its been fantastic to be able to help people and their pets in what can be a really challenging time for lots of people."
