Audrey Smith, a senior auction appraiser, said: “There was again keen interest from bidders as garages in residential areas are often sought after, either for investment or private use, and this was the case again with 20 sold for a combined £118,000, with £8,000 in total paid above the guide prices.”
She added: "Across our two latest auctions, 51 garages at Pilgrims Way were sold for a total of £299,000.”
Described as requiring “upgrading and refurbishment”, a three-bedroom end terrace in Bell Street, Ludgershall, sold freehold for £141,500, which was £21,500 above guide price.
Joint auctioneers were Castles Estate Agents.
