A VILLAGE road is closed near Andover after power lines fell, obstructing drivers.
The village road from Upper Clatford into Goodworth is closed as an overhead power line came down, causing an outage for residents.
SSEN explained that when this happens, the power will 'automatically turn off to keep everyone safe'.

They added: "Our engineers know exactly where the problem is and are working hard to make the situation safe, repair the wire and get your power back on."
24 postcodes have been affected by the cut, according to SSEN, impacting 234 customers. The outage was reported at approximately 5:30am, with power aimed to be restored to residents by 12:30pm.
"These types of faults often require extensive work and specialist teams which is why the restoration time seems so far away. If we can restore power sooner, we will promise to do so.": SSEN continued.
