AN ANDOVER man harassed a woman for nearly two weeks by sending her messages despite knowing she no longer wished to speak to him.
Joseph Gallimore, of Batchelors Barn Road, sent messages and other forms of electronic communication to his victim between December 18, 2023, and January 7, this year, which amounted to harassment.
The 27-year-old admitted to a charge of harassment without violence during a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on March 11.

Magistrates ordered Gallimore to complete 80 hours of unpaid work, along with ‘Building Better Relationships’ programme and up to 10 rehabilitation days.
He was also told to pay court costs of £85 and a £114 victim surcharge.
A restraining order was imposed preventing Gallimore from contacting the victim directly or indirectly and going to a street in Andover.
