A FLOOD alert has been made for the River Bourne in Tidworth.
The Environment Agency made the alert on Thursday, March 28 which covers Ludgershall Road, Pennings Road north of Plassey Close in Tidworth and High Street Junction with Bulford Road in Shipton Bellinger.
The alert on the agency's website states: "River levels are rising on the River Bourne due to heavy rainfall."
It continues: "We will continue to monitor the forecast and re-issue this alert/warning if necessary. Start acting on your flood plan if you have one."

It has also warned residents to avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near watercourses as well as advising people to not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
The agency said that the alert will be updated by 3pm on Friday, March 29, or sooner if the situation changes.
