ANDOVER motorists will have 10 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• A303, from 8pm March 11 to 6am April 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A303 both directions Hundred Acre to Bullington and A34 northbound, Bullington, carriageway and lane closures for resurfacing work.
• A303, from 8pm February 19 to 6am May 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Parkhouse to Picket Twenty, carriageway and lane closures for structures work.
And a further eight closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A34, from 8pm April 2 to 6am April 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Bullington to Whitchurch, Lane closures for barrier work.
• A303, from 8pm April 2 to 6am April 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A303 Both Directions Solstice Park to Parkhouse lane closure for horticulture.
• A34, from 8pm April 3 to 6am April 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Three Maids Hill to Bullington, Lane closures for maintenance works.
• A34, from 8pm April 5 to 6am April 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Bullington to Whitchurch, Lane closure for maintenance works.
• A303, from 8pm April 8 to 6am July 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 both directions M3, junction 9 to Three Maids Hill, carriageway closures for resurfacing work.
• A303, from 8pm April 8 to 6am April 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Salisbury Road, Slip and lane closure for carriageway sweeping.
• A303, from 8pm April 8 to 6am April 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Bullington to M3, junction 9 and A303 both directions Bullington to Micheldever, mobile lane closures for litter clearance.
• A303, from 8pm April 12 to 6am April 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A27 eastbound, Barton Stacey, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
