SUTTON Scotney Fire Station held its first Easter egg hunt, with great success, last weekend.
The event on Saturday, March 30, was hosted by firefighters at the station, with all donations going to the Firefighters Charity.
Attendees of all ages made their way round the Coach and Horses pub garden, which is next door to the station in Oxford Road, searching for eggs and taking part in other Easter-themed activities including a raffle, name the bunny competition and crafts.

Firefighters at the station have thanked sponsors and those who helped out at the event, including David Dobson of the Coach and Horses, Spar, Asda, Tesco and Co-op.
They have also thanked other businesses which provided raffle prizes including Dever Stores, Scotney Salon, The Grosvenor Hotel, Barton Stacey Store, The Swan Pub, Cafe Bartella, Rick Stein Restaurant, Kudos Cake and Coffee Shop, The Village Bakery and Cobbs Farm Shop.
The event raised £572 for the Firefighters Charity.
