AN Andover resident who altered a number plate of a motorcycle has been fined and handed points.
On Saturday, December, 23 last year Charlie Allen, of Claudius Close, altered the characters on a motorcycle number plate to conceal the identity of the vehicle in Whitchurch. Allen pleaded guilty to this offence on Friday, April 12.
On the same date he used a motor vehicle on Church Street, also in Whitchurch, without insurance - a guilty plea was entered for this offence on Tuesday, March 5.

During a hearing held at Aldershot Magistrates' Court on Friday, April 12 the 34-year-old was sentenced for the offence.
Magistrates ordered fines of £1,250 to be paid handed Allen eight penalty points.
Court costs of £100 and a surcharge fee of £500 must also be paid.
