IT was a night full of glamour, live music, games, awards – and charity fundraising – at this year’s Mayoral Charity Dinner.
On Saturday, April 21, the Mayor of Test Valley, Cllr Philip Lashbrook and mayoress Cllr Linda Lashbrook, along with guests, raised more than £2,000 for the mayor's chosen charities – The Enham Trust, Countess of Brecknock Hospice and Test Valley Scouts.
Taking place at the Masonic Hall, in East Street, Andover, guests were invited to wear their finest attire for the ‘glitz and glamour Oscar theme’.
The evening commenced with a welcome drink, followed by a delicious three-course meal with wine.

Guests were out of their seats for games including a balloon race, heads and tails and tossing coins closest to the Prosecco brought out the competitiveness in some. There were also casino tables with blackjack and craps.
Businesses in Test Valley also leant their support, donating prizes and experiences which were auctioned off by auctioneer Graham North.
Many guests also took to the dance floor with The Vinyl Beats providing the tunes before carriages arrived at midnight.
Cllr Philip Lashbrook has thanked all those who were involved in helping to raise the funds and contributed to a ‘wonderful night’.
