AN ANDOVER man who assaulted police officers in the town has been ordered to pay compensation to his victims.
Cameron Tobin, of Spey Court, assaulted officers Nicola Gawthorpe, Paul Clarke and Melody Kness on Sunday, August 20.
On the same day he also used threatening / abusive words / behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.

The 26-year-old pleaded guilty to four charges during a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, April 18.
Magistrates ordered Tobin to pay £75 compensation – there was a £25 uplift announced in open court to ‘reflect the aggravating factor of assault on an emergency worker’.
He was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs.
