A SHOP and Post Office which does so much for the community it is in has now been recognised for its social media presence.
Enham Village Post Office and Stores attended Spar’s trade show and awards evening on Thursday, April 25 and were delighted to walk away with an accolade.
The shop, run by Leslie and Tim Francis, was given the Ben Cooper Best Social Media Retailer Award.
The accolade is named in honour of retail support manager at Spar Ben Cooper who died in 2022.

Leslie said: “Ben was the most decent man who was our first retail support manager.
“He put us the road to social media as it definitely was his thing. He tragically died at an early age and his loss was felt throughout the organisation and customers.”
Upon collecting the ward, Leslie said that Tim was in tears and she was speechless, describing the applause in the room as “amazing”.
In 2019 the shop won the first Community Retailer Award, which is now proudly displayed on the store’s wall.
