A BUSINESSWOMAN who moved to England with nothing is about to see her ‘dream come true’ when she opens her first shop.
Aga Milewska moved to the country from Poland 12 years ago and said she arrived “with nothing”. The 36-year-old from Andover has spent the last nine years building up her upholstery and tailoring business and is now opening a shop at the Old Stable in Winchester Road, Andover.
The mother-of-two has spent the last two weeks renovating the empty unit with the help of her partner and will open her shop – Andover Tailoring Service and Magic Scissors – on Sunday, May 26.

She said: “I moved to the UK 12 years ago with nothing and step-by-step I built my business. It’s my dream come true.”
The shop will offer clothing alterations, upholstery and leather repairs, as well as have products for sale such as handmade cosmetic bags and upcycled furniture.
Aga, whose father was a sculptor, was running her business from home before deciding to take on the empty unit, which has been transformed thanks to the help of her family who have all rallied to support her new venture.
