AFTER a demanding series of interviews, an Andover school has chosen its new senior student team.
Harrow Way Community School has selected its Student Executive who will work closely with headteacher Dawn German, as well as support the work of the wider prefect team.
A school spokesperson said: “The school deems a strong sense of belonging and student voice high on their list of priorities. Consequently, it is important to ensure a strong student leadership team who have the skills to influence and inspire their peers. They are role models for younger students.”
The team have specific roles, which include charity, events, promoting inclusivity and environmental issues.
“Congratulations go to the whole prefect team, but in particular to Neave Close and Ed Whitehouse, the head prefects for 2024-25,” the spokesperson added.
