A HOSPICE that helps children and young people with life-limiting conditions is preparing to host its largest fundraiser of the year - a 26-mile walk from Winchester to Salisbury. 

Naomi House & Jacksplace, hospices for children and young adults, will hold its 18th annual Clarendon Way Walk on Sunday, June 2.

The challenge sends walkers through the countryside between Winchester and Salisbury, across the Test Valley, raising important funds for the charity. 

People can choose three distances - 26, 12 or five miles - all taking them along the historic Clarendon Way route from Winchester Cathedral to Salisbury Cathedral.

The route is well signed and there will be pitstops along the route providing refreshments, toilet stops and volunteers from the charity will be cheering people on.

This year, Naomi House & Jacksplace will be using previous year’s stock of their event T-shirts to reduce its carbon footprint. 

By taking part in the challenge, people will be helping Naomi House & Jacksplace support children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.

The event is suitable for all abilities and ages from five years.
