YOUNGSTERS have been getting their hands dirty as they got involved in making their school greener.
Pupils at Overton Primary School linked up with housebuilder, Bewley Homes, which contributed £250 worth of wildflower seed kits as part of National Children’s Gardening Week.
The week, which runs from Saturday, May 25 to Sunday, June 2 is marked annually in homes, schools, and community organisations nationwide.

The school's headteacher, Fiona Wyeth, said: "We were thrilled to take part in this wonderful initiative which allows our children to learn something new and have fun at the same time.
"I’m sure they will enjoy watching them grow in their pots and then transfer them to the school grounds."
Elaine Stratford, sales and marketing director at Bewley, added: "Our new development in Overton is only a short distance away from the school and wanted to team up to help celebrate this fun initiative.
"We chose wildflower seeds to help the children understand how important they are to attract bees and help towards a healthy environment."
