THIS year marks the centenary of Andover Carnival, and the search is on to find former Royals who took part in the event in the past.
Over the years, many young people have participated in the carnival as attendants, princes, princesses and queens.
They also gave up a lot of time for the town by opening shops and attending
events during their year.

For many years, Iris Andersen was the royals ambassador, responsible for chaperoning and escorting these wonderful young people.
Iris is now seeking those Royals for a special float in the carnival
procession on Sunday, July 21, to remember and celebrate their
special time and to celebrate 100 years of Andover Carnival.
If you were a Carnival Royal and would like to participate by being on
the float, a meeting is being held on Thursday, June 13 at 7pm in The Oak
Room at the White Hart Hotel, Bridge Street.
You can register your interest, bring any photos or memorabilia and meet up with other Royals.
Join them and Iris to celebrate and reminisce on this great community event.
