THE driver of a van has been arrested after items were stolen from a premises in Andover.
Hampshire Constabulary were called on Thursday, June 13 after a van was allegedly sighted leaving the scene of a theft from a rural premises in Andover.
A witness followed the van before it was stopped by police. After searching the vehicle, officers located a number of stolen goods in the van.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of theft.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Roads Policing unit shared the news on its Facebook account. It said: "This van was sighted leaving the scene of a theft from a rural premises in Andover.
"It was followed by a witness. We located the vehicle and brought it to a stop. The stolen goods were located in the and the driver has been arrested by the Sgt for theft!"
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said 'enquiries are ongoing'.
