OVERTON Community Centre has welcomed a garden makeover, thanks to a £250 donation from Bewley Homes.
The funds will finance new plants for the garden, currently overwhelmed by weeds.
Dedication from the Overton Walking Group, who volunteered their labour for the project, complemented Bewley Homes' contributions.
The collective effort aims to create a blooming, sustainable open space for local residents and visitors alike to savour.

Stuart Locke, sales manager at Bewley Homes, said: "At Bewley Homes, we are committed to supporting the communities where we build. The Overton Community Centre garden makeover is a wonderful initiative, and we are delighted to have been able to contribute.
"Seeing the efforts of the Overton Walking Group come to fruition is truly inspiring, as I know there has been a lot of hard work and we hope the new rockeries in the garden, when full of flowers, will be a source of joy and pride for everyone in the village."
John Troman, chairman of the Overton Walking Group, said: "The gardens of the Community Centre have been in a very sorry state for some time. The Overton Walking Group Path Maintenance Team regularly work on the gardens to keep them looking as best they can.
"However, many of the planting areas were in need of clearing with new and different plants more suited to the area.
"Thank you to Bewley for its donation which will enable us to complete the makeover. This garden area will now serve as a beautiful and peaceful spot for the entire community to enjoy."
