AN ANDOVER man who assaulted a woman and used threatening behaviour towards a man has been given a curfew with electronic monitoring.
Luke Mellett, 51, of Tovey Court, was charged with assault by beating a woman on April 2 in Andover.
He was also charged for using threatening and abusive words and behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to one victim on April 21 in Andover. In a separate charge, he was accused of the same in Andover on April 20.
He was also charged with harassment and putting in fear of violence against a man on January 20 and April 21 in Andover High Street.
Following a guilty plea on June 12, Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court gave him a community order of curfew with electronic monitoring for eight weeks.
He has to remain at his home address in Andover during the time of the curfew.
The court also ordered compensation of £100.
