SUMMER may finally be here, as the Met Office predicts sunshine this week in the latest weather forecast.
The wet weather may finally be behind us and summer looks to be upon us, according to the latest weather forecast from the Met Office, which predicts sunshine over the next seven days.
Next Monday could see highs of 23C, as temperatures continue to creep up by the day.

- Friday, June 21, Cloudy, highs of 21C
- Saturday, June 20, Cloudy, highs of 20C
- Sunday, June 23, Sunny intervals, highs of 22C
- Monday, June 24, Sunny intervals, highs of 23C
The Met Office says this Evening and tonight will be "largely dry across the region with variable cloud amounts overnight but allowing clear spells at times."
Wednesday will stay dry "with light winds and sunny spells through the day." and will feel "rather pleasant in sunshine."
Thursday to Saturday will see "plenty of settled weather with sunny spells and dry conditions lasting through to Friday.
"Turning cloudier Saturday with the chance of some isolated light showers. Temperatures around average."
