AN ANDOVER garden centre is inviting gardening fans celebrate the start of summer.
At Dobbies' Planting and Afternoon Tea – Holiday Edition experience, attendees will participate in an interactive plant workshop and enjoy afternoon tea.
New research shows that 45 per cent of Brits love gardening as it gets them outdoors, and this event encourages using holiday-inspired planting techniques to bring sunny vibes to their gardens.
The unique experience includes a workshop led by a horti expert from Dobbies, with a Q&A and a demo using tropical plants selected by RHS Chelsea Flower Show chair of assessors and Dobbies’ senior buyer, Claire Bishop.

Afterwards, customers can create their own tropical planter to bring home, and enjoy a traditional or luxury afternoon tea at the centre.
Ms Bishop said: "We're thrilled to be launching Planting and Afternoon Tea – Holiday Edition at our Andover store.
"It's the perfect opportunity to ignite your passion for gardening and unwind with a delicious array of savoury and sweet delights.
