MORE than 150 walkers have taken part in a late-night charity walk in order to raise money for Andover's hospice.
On Saturday, June 22, 160 walkers took part in the Countess of Brecknock Hospice 10@10 Late Night Walk, hoping to raise £25,000.
The walk, starting at 10pm around Andover, featured five and 10-mile options. Neon, fluorescent and flashing accessories lit up the night, attracting individuals, teams, and families.
Harrow Way Community School provided the venue, and Stitch-A-Logo contributed T-shirts. Dunnings Funeral Directors and Tesco Andover also supported the event, offering water and snacks to walkers, respectively.

All proceeds go directly to hospice services.
Lyndsey Eaton, whose mum was looked after by the hospice last year, said: "After losing two amazing ladies in our lives in July and December 2023 we wanted to give something back to the amazing hospice and the staff that work there. The care and support they showed to both Lenie and Triena in their last days and our families was incredible and we will be forever grateful."
Michele Gard, director of the Hospice Charitable Trust, said: "It was a fantastic evening with a great atmosphere. Many participants walked in memory of loved ones, wanting to ensure that care is available for others who need it. We lit up the night and shone for the hospice, which is such an amazing facility for our local community."
