A cancer charity is appealing for volunteers to help at its Andover hub to help make visitors welcome.
Wessex Cancer Support, which provides free cancer wellbeing sessions at the Health Hub every Tuesday between 10am and 1pm, is looking for volunteers at the centre.
The charity would love to hear from anyone who could spare a bit of time between 10am and 1pm; either to accompany the weekly walking group around Rooksbury Mill between 10.30am and 11.30 with a refreshment stop at The Lights community centre from 11.30 to 12, or to stay at the Chantry Centre for all or part of the session to help make visitors welcome.

The sessions provide a safe space for those affected by cancer and their loved ones.
The wellbeing sessions are designed for anyone who may appreciate talking or having non-judgemental company through confusing thoughts and feelings.
Wessex Cancer Support currently provides a range of wellbeing services at its four Support Centres in Chandler’s Ford, Bournemouth, Hythe and Newport on the Isle of Wight.
Andover was identified as an area where there is a lack of cancer support and where more provision would benefit local people.
