These are the final words from the North West Hampshire election candidates before we all head to the polls.

Residents across North West Hampshire will head to the polls to vote for one of six candidates on Thursday, July 4.

The seat was previously held by Conservative, Kit Malthouse who was first elected as MP for the constituency in May 2015. It has been Conservative since the constituency was formed in 1983.

On July 4, Mr Malthouse is standing as the conservative candidate, joining him on the ballot are Andy Fitchet (Labour), Luigi Gregori (Liberal Democrats), Phil Heath (Hampshire Independents), Andrew Meacham (Reform UK), and Hina West (Green Party).

I am standing in the election because this is my home too. I was brought up here, live here, and am raising my family here. I work across Andover, Whitchurch, Overton, Kingsclere and have extended family in Tadley. Our prosperity is personal to me. We know we need change as a Country, we need to fix our NHS, support our schools, build our children's homes, protect the planet and we can only do that with a Labour Government and a strong local and visible MP in me. It’s time for change, don’t just hope for it - vote for it!

I have been a champion for the local area since I left the Army, and have made it my family home for over 20 years. I have campaigned and worked with colleagues from all parties to get real results to improve the lives of residents across the constituency and have seen the area grow and change. I have worked hard for you as a local councillor and would work hard for you as your local MP.

Over the last nine years as your MP, I have used my experience of Westminster to win us the investment we need to thrive: millions for Andover regeneration; £800m for a new hospital; protecting our countryside; 650 extra Hampshire cops. I’ve also used my experience in business to stand alongside the small firms that make our local economy so strong. Times have been tough, but we are turning a corner. With significant new investment, we can build a fantastic future together. I hope you will give me the chance to complete my mission for you and your families.

I am a local mum, living in Whitchurch who deeply cares about our community and ensuring we all thrive, for the future of our children and children's children. I truly believe the Green Party are the only party which has the vision, honest ambition and pragmatic understanding of how to fix our broken country whilst saving Mother Earth. When the new Labour-led government is formed, the Greens will push them to go faster and further on the biggest issues of our time, including Gaza, the NHS, climate change and protecting nature, and holding them to account on their promises.

Phil Heath and Andrew Meacham were both contacted to take part but they did not reply.
