Ian Griffin will take to the stage for Music at HeART (Image: WEOS) In 1990, he formed his own cabaret show band, Casual Affair, which made several appearances on HTV's Friday Live programme. In 1996 he was the musical director on HTV's Friday Night Live, an early form of ITV’s X-Factor, with famous personalities as judges on talent from Wales. His gift of perfect pitch has been useful in accompanying many singers, for which he received accolades from fellow keyboard players.

In 1997, he became musical director and associate producer for Pontin's ‘Keyboard Special’ events in Torquay and has since co-produced a number of keyboard festivals. In 1998, he made recordings for various artistes appearing on ITV’s Stars in Their Eyes and has performed at several keyboard events in Holland.

Ian first performed for WEOS at Weyhill in October 2006 and then at The Lights in October 2008 – the latter in company with two music associates.

He is always in demand for festivals and concerts, the latter usually including request spots which have proved very popular amongst his audiences.

Tickets priced at £8 (including interval refreshments) can be obtained in advance from the White Hart and, subject to availability, at the door on the night.
