Labour has claimed a landslide victory in the 2024 UK general election, winning 412 seats nationally, surpassing the 326 seats needed for a majority.
The party has both gained and retained seats in Hampshire, whilst the Conservatives held their seat in Romsey and Southampton North – as well as the New Forest and North West Hampshire – with the Liberal Democrats winning in Eastleigh and North East Hampshire.
