TEST Valley's motorists will have 18 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network over the next fortnight.
One of them is expected to cause major delays, with drivers facing a holdup of at least 30 minutes. Another six will cause moderate delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that 18 closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

• A34, from 8pm July 8 to 6am July 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 northbound, Bullington, Slip and lane closure for maintenance works.
• M27, from 8pm July 8 to 5am July 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 westbound, junction 7 to junction 4, lane closure for inspection works.
• A303, from 8pm July 8 to 6am July 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A303 eastbound, Picket Twenty to Barton Stacey, carriageway closure for surveys.
• M3, from 8pm July 9 to 6am July 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 southbound to M27 westbound, link road lane closure for maintenance work.
• M27, from 8pm July 10 to 6am July 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M27 eastbound to M3 northbound, link road and lane closures for electrical work.
• A34, from 8pm July 12 to 6am July 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 southbound, Bullington, slip road and lane closures for roadmarkings.
• A303, from 8pm July 12 to 6am July 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Barton Stacey, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.
• M27, from 8pm July 13 to 6am July 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 both directions, junction 3, lane closures for structures work.
• A303, from 8pm July 15 to 6am July 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Bullington Cross, slip and lane closure for resurfacing works.
• A303, from 8pm July 15 to 6am July 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Longparish, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.
• A303, from 8pm July 16 to 6am July 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Picket Twenty, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.
• A303, from 9.30pm July 17 to 6am July 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Salisbury Road to Thruxton, slip road and lane closures for maintenance works.
• M27, from 8pm July 18 to 6am July 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 eastbound, junction 3 to 5, lane closure for maintenance works.
• A303, from 9.30pm July 18 to 6am July 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A303 westbound, Hundred Acre to Thruxton Village, slip road and lane closure's for drainage works.
• A303, from 8pm July 19 to 6am July 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A303 eastbound, Picket Twenty to Bullington, carriageway closure resurfacing work.
• A303, from 9.30pm July 19 to 6am July 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Parkhouse to Thruxton, slip road and lane closure for drainage works.
• A303, from 8pm July 22 to 6am July 23, severe delays (more than 30 minutes): A303 eastbound, Longparish, slip road and lane closures for Hampshire County Council.
• A303, from 9.30pm July 22 to 6am July 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Parkhouse, slip road and lane closures for maintenance works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
