A GENEROUS business owner has donated hundreds of pounds to a good cause which supports military personnel.

Joel Kirby, owner of Monopoly Insurance has given £800 to David Clark, who is raising funds for the charity Head Up, which is dedicated to providing mental health support to current and former military personnel.

Joel recently sponsored the Super Sport Star contest at this year’s Andover Armed Forces Day on Sunday, June 29, which included various sporting challenges designed to test the skills and endurance of the participants.

I hope this contribution helps in making a difference in the lives of those who have given so much for our country.”

David, who accepted the cheque on behalf of Head Up, thanked Joel for his generous support. He added: “Sponsorships like this are vital in enabling us to continue our work. Joel Kirby and Monopoly Insurance’s support will go a long way in helping us provide the necessary assistance to our veterans and their families.”

Head Up creates holistic retreats to help individuals manage PTSD, depression, and other mental health challenges.
